Family Fun - Communication and Sandwich Making

This workshop aims to help families to build a better bond and understand how to communication better. Parents and children will learn four simple principles of communication - Understand others, Listen attentively, Take Turns and Taking note of Body Language through fun activities. Parents and children will get the opportunity to practise the skills learnt in the sandwich making session.

Innovate Sculpey! - ( Polymer Clay Workshop)

Innovate Sculpey offers polymer clay as a versatile modeling material that offers endless opportunities for exploration and creativity. Participants can knead,stretch, roll, poke and shape it in whichever way they desire.It is a medium that provides the chance for children’s growth in all developmental areas.

Parents on the other hand, can use this avenue to clay-play with theirchildren. The structured workshop encourages individual’s creativity, bonding, teamwork and communication.

Through the trainer’s facilitation, participants are guided to learn basic polymer clay modeling techniques and encouraged to add on their own designs topersonalize their creations.Parents play an important part in moulding and influencing their children’s life.

In this fun and interactive parent-child polymer clay activity, parents get tolearn how to mould (literally), bond with their children and acquiring parenting tips.

Parents Conference in DLSS

There will be a Parent Conference on 6th August 2011. DLSS believes in working closely with parents. The aim of the Parent Conference is to engage parents to work with the school to better understand the elarning needs of your children.
